Upcoming 2016 Gardening Workshops   (All gardening classes are free of charge)

SAVE THE DATE! Join us at 10 am on February 20th at Borst Demo Garden in Centralia where WSU Lewis County Master Gardener Gary Gorremans will be teaching the popular class on Spring Grape Care. Learn how to prune your grapes and which grapes grow well in our climate. Free cuttings from the grapes at Borst Demo Garden will be available for all attendees.

Interested in learning more about your home garden? Gardening for Everyone is scheduled from 9 am to 2:30 pm on February 27th at Centralia College, Washington Hall. Classes will include Growing Tomatoes, Vertical Container Gardening, Deer Resistant Landscaping, Planning and Building Raised Beds, Lawns, Seed Starting/Row Cover/Hoop Houses and Gardening Ergonomics.

WSU Extension Master Gardener program’s mission is to provide public education in home gardening and environmental stewardship generated from research at WSU and other university systems.  WSU Master Gardener Volunteers educate the community about issues of importance in their local communities that enhance natural resources, sustain communities and improve the health and wellness of Washington residents.
