Upcoming 2015 Gardening Workshops

SAVE THE DATE! Join us at 10 am on February 28th at the Borst Demo Garden in Centralia where Gary Gorremans, WSU Lewis County Master Gardener, will be leading a class on Spring Grape Care. Learn how to prune your grapes and what grapes grow well in our climate. Cuttings from the grapes at Borst Demo Garden will be available for all attendees.
Interested in learning more about your home garden? Gardening For Everyone is scheduled from 9 am to 2:15 pm on March 7th at Centralia College, Washington Hall. Classes will include Basic Gardening 101, Choosing the Right Tool for the Right Job, Planning a Low Maintenance Perennial Garden, Grapes 101, Organic Gardening, Wild Edibles, Winter Gardening, and Tackling Tough Weeds in the Home Landscape.
The purpose of the WSU Extension Master Gardeners program is to provide public education in home gardening and environmental stewardship generated from research at WSU and other university systems. Volunteers are trained by WSU faculty and staff to be community educators about issues of importance in their local communities that enhance natural resources, sustain communities and improve the health and wellness of WA residents.
