Join United Way of Lewis County to learn how dollars are invested in our community, and how we are improving lives for a better tomorrow. United Way continues to transform our community by addressing the underlying causes of community needs. By supporting United Way, your funds are invested locally, tackling key community issues with viable long-term solutions. Keynote speaker is Donna M. Beegle, a highly experienced, nationally-known speaker, trainer, and the author of “See Poverty, Be The Difference,” a resource book for professionals who work with people in poverty. Donna has worked and written articles providing insights and strategies for communicating more effectively across race, class, gender and generational barriers for 17 years. The community is encouraged to attend a free Community Forum by Dr. Beegle on September 24th as she presents the results of the recent Lewis County Community Health Assessment at Centralia College’s Corbet Theatre from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
