The Centralia Lions Club – Let’s go fishing!

Yes, here it is again for the 51st year the Centralia Lions Club is hosting the Annual Youth Fishing Derby. This year the event will happen on April 27th. Registration beings at 9 a.m. But you can begin fishing before then. Age groups are again this year 3 to 6, 7 to 11 and 12 to 14.
The free Hot Dogs should be ready by 11 a.m. Be sure to pick up your ticket when registering.
Washington Fish & Wildlife has stocked the lake with tagged fish for their statewide contest. Last year one of the fishermen caught one of these tagged fish and won a $100 gift certificate from Fred Meyers. And it was a good sized fish as well.
Also again this year at noon there will be a drawing for some great prizes. These prizes are donated by Sunbirds in Chehalis. Also again this year there will be a drawing for the three age appropriate bicycles donated by Fireman’s Local 000 Union.
Last year we had over 200 registrants and looking for more this year. Sunshine has been ordered but not guaranteed.
