Perhaps Lewis County’s best kept secret, Pleasant Hill Studios is a fully equipped professional recording studio right here in Chehalis. Producer / engineer Jeff Andersen (of the Backfire Band) and his wife Janet are the owners.
The facility, located just 10 minutes west of I-5, includes a main studio, control room and 3 isolation booths. Rock groups, church choirs, country artists, jazz bands, folk / bluegrass combos and solo singer / musicians should give us a look. Tours of the studio and a conversation about your project are always free of charge.
Over the years, PHS has hosted many of Lewis County’s favorite musicians, including The Voetberg Family, Joe Blaser, Julie Calkins, Nashville recording artist Ben Potter, Pe Ell’s own Numbskullz, Nashville producer Jimmy Ritchey, Splash, The Backfire Band, and many other local artists.
Today anyone can install recording software onto their laptop or mobile device. Knowing how to get the most out of those software tools is another matter. We provide the knowledge, the state-of-the-art tools, the experience and expertise to help you craft your musical vision in a comfortable, relaxing environment.
If you’ve been traveling north or south to record, or have been thinking about doing so, there’s no need! Give Jeff and Janet a phone call today at (360) 748-4333, or (360) 219-3746 to schedule a no-obligation tour. Oh, and look for our new website, www.pleasanthillstudios.com, coming online this spring.
