Lewis County Adventist School, located at 2102 S Scheuber Rd in Chehalis, is back in session. Having successfully offered in-person education during the whole of the 2020/2021 school year, the students and staff are accustomed to the norms with the Covid-19 protocols. The 2021/2022 school year kicked off on August 20 with a back-to-school breakfast for students, parents, guardians and staff. This was followed by an orientation session focused on an overview of the curriculum and a refresher on Covid protocols. The day continued with an Olympic-themed fun in the sun activity including outdoor games, to create bonds through play. Education instruction began on August 23.
The school offers preschool to 10th grade education and strives to both academically educate and spiritually nurture all its students. The school also fosters leadership growth for students, and to this end, the students in 8th to 10th grades participated in an overnight leadership training camp during the second weekend in September.
