Know Your Soils Free Class

The WSU Lewis County Master Recycler/Composter Program trains and empowers volunteers to provide useful information to the community through free workshops, demonstrations, and other educational outreach to promote waste reduction, healthy ecosystems, and sustainable, resilient communities. On March 2nd , Bob Taylor MRC, will be teaching the class on “KNOWING YOUR SOILS”, free soil kits will be provided. Pre Register for this class at

360-740-1214, so enough soil kits will be available. In addition, you will need to bring your own soil sample using the directions provided by Jason Adams at jason.adams@lewiscountywa.gov. The class will be taught in-person using COVID protocols at Chehalis Library at 5 pm. If you are interested in Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling solid waste and have a willingness to use your knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to make a positive impact In your community, consider becoming a WSU Master Recycler Composter volunteer.
