Our Local listener-supported KACS Radio Network (90.5 FM) is teaming up again with the Lewis County Ministry Network (LCMN) to sponsor the 7th Annual mid-winter Laugh All Night Family Comedy Concert, January 25th, 7:00 p.m. at Corbet Theater on the Centralia College Campus. This year’s comedian is Rik Roberts, heard on Laugh USA, Sirius XM, Blue Collar Radio and CMT. Family-friendly KACS provides the event in cooperation with area churches and charities in the LCMN, “to break up the post holiday mid-winter doldrums,” according to KACS Manager Cameron Beierle Sr., “We are pleased to invite the public to the concert with free admission.” Beierle says that the radio network and LCMN ask families who attend to consider donating to New Missions since they aren’t required to buy a ticket. As a non-profit, New Missions provides education, medical care, housing, food and clothing to street children and orphans in Haiti. A voluntary non-obligatory donation collection will be accepted at the event. Attending families can also select and sponsor specific children in the New Missions project from profiles presented at the information booth in the lobby. “We hope multi-generational families will come laugh with us at this year’s event,” says Beierle.
