Mediation is a powerful, highly effective tool for resolving conflict. Impartial mediators assist those in conflict to communicate more clearly, sort out misunderstandings, explore many possible options for resolving the issue, and develop agreements that both parties have participated in creating.
The Center for Constructive Resolution and Conversation offers a 40-hour mediation training designed specifically for individuals interested in becoming mediators or integrating mediation skills into their current careers. These skills are valuable for Human Resources, Public Service, Healthcare, Law, Education, Non-Profit, Business, Counselors, Pastors, Board members, volunteers, and numerous other paths.
The 40-hour BMT Training satisfies the initial requirements to become a Certified Mediator in accordance with Washington State RCW, Resolution Washington, and Washington Mediation Association.
The Center for Constructive Resolution and Conversation will offer a 40 hour Basic Mediation Training Sunday, April 19th: 1:30-5:30 pm, Tuesday, April 21st: 3:30-7:30 pm, Thursday, April 23rd:3:30-7:30 pm, and Saturday, April 25th: 8 am-5 pm, and the following week April 26th, 28th, 30th, and May 2nd.
