Economist to speak at Centralia College

The Centralia College Foundation and Union Bank of California will provide local business and industry leaders and members of the public with an expert’s perspective on the fiscal climate and business conditions for 2015.

The free program will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, with light refreshments in the lobby of the Walton Science Center on the Centralia College campus. The presentation will follow at 6 p.m. in room 121 of the Walton Science Center. The economic forecast will be presented by Craig Braemer, Union Bank’s vice president and director of investments.

Union Bank manages investment accounts for the Centralia College Foundation. The presentation is beneficial to individuals who manage their own investment or retirement accounts.

“Our relationship with Union Bank has given us an opportunity to bring current economic forecasts to the region,” said Julie Johnson, the Centralia College Foundation’s director of donor and alumni relations. “We’re always pleased to share this information as part of our commitment to the community.”
