Bird’s Nest, Ads, Workshop

The first person-sized Bird’s Nest was built six years ago in Borst Park. Every spring since then, ARTrails members and community citizens get together to rebuild, patch, or add to the nest.
ARTrails member Karen McInturff says, “The current challenge is to create an entrance arch or opening so the community can go inside to enjoy it.”
Those who are interested are invited to join us for the fun April 13 around 10 a.m. The nest is across from the dog park.
Individuals or businesses wanting to place ads in the fall 2019 Studio Guide must do so before April 30. The 10,000 guides to this 17th annual event will be distributed statewide and in many other states beginning in July. To purchase your ad, contact any ARTrails member or send your artwork and check (payable to ARTrails of Southwest Washington), to ARTrails of Southwest Washington, Attention: Ad Sales, PO Box 1628, Centralia WA 98531.
The Golden Workshop, Painting on Fabric with Acrylics, has been rescheduled since its cancellation due to snow. Those who signed up previously will need to do so again as your payment has been refunded. The new date is May 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Kitchen #2, Borst Park, Centralia.
