ARTrails artists are busy creating art for their next event at the ChehalisFest . This fun-filled local festival will be on July 30th from 11-4pm in downtown Chehalis. Seasoned and new artists will be showing their art in mediums including pottery, photography, oil painting, watercolors, cement sculpture, flower making, wood carving, felting and more. Our own famous Richard Roth will be throwing pots and Abigail Gary and others painters will be doing plein aire for the tourists to enjoy. There will be plenty of chalk for children to “Chalk the Walk” with the artists and Charles Funk will be doing a sidewalk mural.
ChehalisFest 2016 has much to offer to you and your family! The Lewis County Historical Museum will hold a pancake breakfast and sell hot dogs in the day. There is a Kids Zone with lots of fun for the little ones.
Later, the Market Street Pub will hold a Taste of the Northwest offering “tastes” of NW beer, wine and spirits in a commemorative glass to remember the occasion . In the evening Market Street closed down and the Pub Street Dance takes over with live music, hot food and fun.
