CHEHALIS, WA –A Second Time Around Thrift Store benefitting Lewis County Senior Centers is having a $5 A BAG CLOTHING SALE on May 11th and May 12th 15% off everything in the store. 50% off on all purchases will be held on April 27th. Both the Auction window and the inside auction end May 9th at 12 pm.
If you need an interview outfit or even a set of clothes for a new job, we would like to offer 2 outfits for Women or Men. We are calling this “Dressing You for Success”. A volunteer may be available on Sundays to help pick out an appropriate outfit. If you want to donate to this cause, be sure to let staff know it is for the “Dressing You for Success” section of the store.
Lewis County Seniors mission is to provide services to ensure all older adults are revered, cared for, and/or supported as they continue to live meaningful lives through the aging process. Our vision is to maintain a self-sustaining long term senior services program that encourages continued independence and improved quality of life for older adults. As of January 2018, we are responsible for funding the five senior centers, Twin Cities, Toledo, Olequa, Morton, Packwood, and nutritional site in Pe Ell.
The old saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is certainly true! We are dependent upon the community for monetary donations along with gently used furniture, clothing, jewelry and household goods Donations are appreciated and accepted during Thrift Store hours, Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are located at 749 S. Market Blvd, Chehalis, next door to the ACE Hardware store.
