The Community Farmers’ Market in Chehalis is kicking off their new Power of Produce Kid’s Club next Tuesday, June 21st! The program will run through the end of August, weekly from 11am to 2pm, and will feature community partners such as SWWA Family Magazine, the Master Gardeners, Timberland Regional Library, Discover Children’s Museum, the Health Department, Lewis Co Beekeepers, and more! The Community Farmers Market is pleased to welcome youngins to the farm-fresh, local community and to nurture healthy lifestyles for friends of all ages!
This new program was created with assistance from Northwest Farm Credit Services through their Rural Community Grant Program. A presentation of funds will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 28th to commemorate the new kid’s club program. The Community Farmers Market is continuing to seek additional funding of the program and interested parties can find out more by contacting the Market Manager at email@example.com or 360-740-1295.
June 28th is also the Market’s annual Southwest Washington Family Day along with the POP Kids Club. Southwest Washington Family Magazine and Timberland Library will be sponsoring games, activities, and prizes for kids throughout the day.
