The Lewis County Auditor's office
is an agent to the State of Washington Department of Licensing. As such, we are a full service office for vehicle licensing. You can complete the following applications through our office:
- Vehicle & Vessel Licenses
- Vehicle & Vessel Titles
- Animal / Pet Licenses - Not required in Lewis County. Licenses may be required if you live within city limits. Check with the appropriate city.
- Disabled Person Plate issuance and transfers
- Personalized Plate Transfers
- Trip and Transit Permits
- Replacement Plates and Tabs

Department of Licensing Subagents
The Department of Licensing authorizes the County to appoint subagents to assist in the processing of vehicle transactions. As the subagents are independent businesses that receive no remuneration from the State, they are authorized to charge a "subagent fee" for processing of vehicle transactions. The fee is $3.00 on renewal transactions and $7.50 on title transactions.
