Centralia College
In the U.S., 40 percent of students attend two-year colleges. Centralia College currently has 3,685 enrollees. Nearly one-half of them are full-time students. One-third of the student
body comes directly from the Lewis and South Thurston county school districts. More than 40 percent are enrolled in one of seven academic transfer programs offered.
Statistically, Centralia College transfer students perform as well as or better than
the majority of students who begin their education at a four-year university. Centralia College is rich with professional and technical training programs and can also customize a certificate program through the Individualized Certification Program designed to pair students with working professionals.
Through partnerships with four-year institutions, students can earn an associates, bachelors and masters degree in education on the Centralia College campus. Centralia College also offers activities outside the classroom including intercollegiate sports, clubs and organizations, performing arts and fine art presentations.
Centralia College has an outstanding reputation for its exceptionally talented professors and small, individualized classes. Outstanding high school students, including more than 20 valedictorians and salutatorians from area high schools, are increasingly choosing the two-year option, having already been accepted by four-year institutions. Centralia College has become a service organization responsive to our community and committed to diversity.
