The council offers programs to increase competitiveness of its companies and provide assistance with site location and permitting issues. The “Small Business Development Center” is a valuable service for start-up companies. Also, “The Lending Network” is an excellent financial resource that has made more than 60 loans to small, local companies over the past ten years.
