International Trade
With the recent success of introducing 350 people to China during the March 2007 China Trade Mission and Familiarization Tour, the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce is cordinating two additional trips. These trips will take place during November 2007 (Sold Out) and March/April 2008 (Taking Reservations Now). These trips are great opportunities for individuals to become familiar with China's people, places and culture. Those who wish to pursue business opportunities, the trip include several tours of Chinese business parks and meeting with business contacts in Beijing and Shanghai. The March 2007 trip provided several area businesses direct contact to manufactures to help improve international trade and business transactions.
China's international trade will continue to grow and the worlds spotlight is on their capabilities to produce products that will meet world-wide quality standards. The Spring Trade Mission & Familiarization Tour will provide an invaluable insight into China's business practices and how their deep history and culture will continue to impact the global economy.
The Spring 2008 trip has two departure dates (March 28 & April 2). The group will travel from Lewis County to Vancouver BC via charter bus and fly to China the morning after. Registration and payment in full deadline for the Spring 2008 trip is Wednesday November 21, 2007.
Those who wish to travel must make reservation and $200 deposit as soon as possible and provide the following to the chamber office before November 21, 2007:
- Completed Registration Form and pay deposit as soon as possible.
- Current Passport valid through October 2008
- Completed Visa Application Form (Only fill in number’s 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.7, 1.8, 4.5, and Signature)
Two professional passport photos (for visa application)
- Visa Application Fee of $115
- Complete Business Inquiry Form for those wishing to make contact with Chinese Businesses
